ENG.MWESIGE ANDREW is currently working as a Principal Maintenance Engineer with the Directorate of Air Navigation Services at UCAA.

He has over 15 years’ experience in the Aviation Industry and has held several portfolios including Principal SMS/QA officer and a Senior ANS Planning Engineer.

He holds an MBA from the Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University. He has undergone extensive training in CNS and SMS.

He has played key roles in implementation of several CNS infrastructure projects in Uganda and is a member of a number of technical committees including Civil Military Interoperability Committee, Cyber Security working group, IIM working group among others.

Eng. Mwesige enjoys networking and leveraging team synergy. He has been active in UGATSEA playing a key role in reactivation of membership with IFATSEA and has previously served as Secretary General of UGATSEA, Vice President and latter President of the same.

He is married to Dr. Tabitha Mwesige and the two are blessed with three wonderful children.
