Fortunate Tumuhaise is an Engineer with the Directorate of Air Navigation Services, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority where she has served for the past thirteen years. Fortunate holds a Master of Science in Data Communication and Software Engineering from Makerere University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Kyambogo University.

She is a passionate about Web3 Technology, and how it can be harnessed to create solutions for our everyday operations in a safe and secure manner.

Fortunate is currently serving as Senior Technical Officer Research and Development and has experience in leading teams in research and innovation projects. She also supports the maintenance of communication, navigation and surveillance systems under Uganda Civil Aviation Authority.
