Ing. Samuel Kojo Zormelo is a telecommunications engineer and seasoned aviation safety expert with over two decades of experience in civil aviation oversight, Air Navigation Services (ANS), aeronautical telecommunications, ICAO USOAP-CMA, SSP, NASP, RPAS, and SMS implementation. As Manager of the ANS Inspectorate at the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, he leads the licensing, certification, and surveillance of ANS providers to ensure compliance with national regulations and ICAO SARPs. An ICAO-certified instructor and auditor, he contributes to ICAO, AFCAC, IFATSEA, and BAGASOO working groups. With strong technical and policy expertise, he champions aviation safety across Africa through innovation and strategic governance.
